Blogspot Blog Creation Tutorial

Blogspot is the blogging service offered by Google. It is fairly popular and it is free.

To create a blogspot blog, follow these steps.

1. Go to https://www.blogger.com/start and click on CREATE A BLOG, the button shown below.
   
2. Fill out the required information and click on CONTINUE, the button shown below.
   
3. Choose a name and address. The name can be edited later and may include spaces and punctuation. The address placed within the URL may not include punctuation and should not include spaces, as shown below.

Choose a template by checking the radio button by the template as shown below. Click on CONTINUE.

Your blog has been created! You can now click on START BLOGGING or click on ADVANCED SETUP to obtain your own domain for your blog. Having my own domain would costs me $10 per year (which is a good deal). By having my own domain of mikessampleblog4u.com, my blog would be found at mikessampleblog4u.com rather than mikessampleblog4u.blogspot.com. As you can see, having my own domain makes it easier for people to find your site. For now, I will skip the domain option and simply start blogging.

The next page you see will be a window where you can place your post and publish it, as shown below.
