New Blogspot Template

1. 1. Enter the address of your blog. If you don’t quite remember all of it, then go to http://blogger.com and log into your account (see Blogger: Dashboard below). Then click on Layout.

2. 1. Now select Pick New Template, as shown below.

3. 1. Pick your new template, as shown below. After you select SAVE TEMPLATE, you can then go back to your blog by selecting View Blog. I chose the Minima template since it is fairly easy to edit.

4. 1. My blog now looks like that shown below. But can I somehow personalize the header? The answer is YES! See step 5 to learn how to put your own image at the top.

5. Click on Customize in the top right of your blog, as shown below.
   

Click on Edit, corresponding to Header, as shown below.

Now you will see a screen like shown below. You must now create an image that you would like to use and browse to find it. Check the options as shown below.

Save the image you chose.

Here is the NEW look. Not perfect, but quite an improvement!

What if this did not turn out too swell? Repeat Steps 5-8. When you get to step 8, choose the Remove Image option. Then upload your new edited image and save. Don’t feel bad – I had to do this several times in this tutorial to get the header image the right size! Don’t like your blog yet, even with improvements?
